Vacation Renovation - Cabin Refresh

Wood Cladding Cabin in Charlotte, NC hired AG Design to bring color

Service: Furnishing & Decor

We were thrilled to work on an extraordinary project for a client who had recently acquired a massive log cabin on 150 gated acres in the suburbs of Charlotte, NC. The cabin was covered in wood cladding from the soaring cathedral ceilings to the floors and even the dining table. However, the new owner had a love for color and needed the interior to reflect that, without the option of painting or applying wall coverings. We solved this challenge by using carefully curated textiles to bring out the desired colors and create a cohesive look for the home.

The table had a surface of oxidized metals in her two favorite colors. When we unveiled the final design, it was evident that the space had undergone a beautiful transformation. The combination of rustic and contemporary elements created a unique and elegant look, while the colors added depth and vibrancy to the room.

After learning that her favorite colors were blue and burnt orange, we spent months sourcing custom fabrics to cover the furniture designed for her large family gatherings. The entire space was customized, from the set of ottomans in the living room to the game table that we commissioned by an artisan in Miami.

Our client was thrilled with the final touches on her new home, where she can now host and entertain her family for years to come.
